GVP Moisturizing Conditioner Review

Hey ya'll. As promised here is my review of Sally's GVP Moisturizing Conditioner. It's is supposed to be a lower cost version of Nexxus Humectress. I should point out that I have not had the pleasure of using Nexxus Humectress, so I can't say if it is exactly the same. However I can say that I enjoy using the GVP brand more than other conditioners I have tried.

I first tried GVP Moisturizing Conditioner a couple of months ago in my quest to find a deep conditioner that I could call a staple. When I first used it, I wasn't too impressed with it but I think that is because I bogged it down with other "ingredients" including Roux Porosity Control Conditioner and Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstructor. My hair felt okay but not particularly moisturized. However the second time I used GVP Moisturizing Conditioner, I just used the conditioner and a tablespoon or so of JBCO. Let me tell you that it was a complete 180 degrees from my previous experience. My hair had slip, it was moisturized and when I just t-shirt dried my hair, it felt smooth and soft. I was so happy, I did one of my goofy little dances. However, in the name of research I needed to see what the conditioner did without any "assistance" of any kind, so the next time I used it, it was "naked" meaning nothing was added to it. And once again, my hair was soft and fluffy and the new growth was definitely happy. I believe I have found my deep conditioning soul mate, but of course I'm a little fickle, so I may try another deep conditioner down the line just so I don't limit myself, but for now GVP conditioner is my ride and die lol.
