I'm A Deadbeat Blogger (Or Setting Up For Setbacks)

Hey everybody. Once again I have abandoned my blog and once again I am back. However, I am praying have been a mix of hits and misses and it saddens me that I may just be looking at a setback due to my negligence. It’s funny in a way because when I blog regularly, my hair seems to thrive. I attribute it to the fact that I am holding myself accountable. However, when I am not blogging my hair does tend to suffer because my mindset is in the mode of who cares about my hair. And my obvious answer should be “you do dummy!”, but it is not that easy. Finances also have played a part in me abandoning my hair. Getting my hair relaxed at a salon or by a licensed stylist is costly and not considered a priority in our budget, but I’m still a bit skittish about relaxing my own hair. I’m at the point where I don’t want to make a bad situation worse. I have gotten encouragement to start relaxing my own hair from others, but I need to hear that same encouragement from myself. I figure I am going to jump into the self-relaxed pool the way I have to jump into a freezing cold swimming pool. Just close my eyes, say a prayer, and dive in. Well anyways here I am committing myself anew to my hair and to my blog.

I have been toying around with the idea of combining my non-hair blog Tales From A Thirty Something Mommy and this blog Same Hair Different Head into just one blog where I can talk about the things going on in my life that don’t have to do with how much conditioner I used in one sitting LOL!! Let me know in the comments below what you think about it. Also don’t forget to follow me on Bloglovin’ if you haven’t already and feel free to pass me along to all your readers and friends as well.

Until next time...
