Influenster/Hair Steamer Review

Hey everyone. This post today is kind of two reviews in one. If you don’t know I am a part of Influenster which is a website that sends free products to people for the purpose of testing and review. The great thing about it is that you get to keep what you get. Sometimes Influenster issues tasks for certain people to perform and in turn are rewarded with prizes.

One task that I performed a few months back is the EBay virtual Vox Box. What I had to do with this task is write guides on EBay for different topics that were provided by Influenster. After writing these guides and submitting them to Influenster for approval, I was given a $25 gift card for EBay. I also was given the opportunity to write additional guides for another $25 gift card which I did and received. After getting both of my gift cards I was in that predicament that we find ourselves in, “What do I buy with $50 in free EBay money?” At first I had my eye on a weighted hula hoop that I wanted for exercise purposes, but it was sold out. Then I started looking at Curlformers (or the knock-offs) and I didn’t think that I was getting enough bang for my buck. Then I saw it. A hair steamer that looked kind of like the more popular brand of hair steamers you see in the YouTube videos and blogs today. I had to have it and so I clicked buy and used my cards towards it. The delivery was quick and assembling the steamer took no time at all.

I can most assuredly say that I love my steamer so far. My hair seems to hold on to moisture more when I steam versus when I just put a plastic cap on to deep condition. I do admit that I had misgivings about this particular steamer based on online reviews that said that it was not reliable and can break. I put those to the side and told myself that if in fact it does break (knock wood) at least I didn’t pay out of pocket for it.

I have Influenster to thank for that. I don’t know of any other site that rewards their people for doing what I think is things they do anyway. I have to say that if you are active on social media and blog, Influenster is for you. There are some who don’t like that they don’t always qualify for everything, but to them I say to be patient. Also if you get virtual boxes, complete them. Some of them only reward a few, but most give everyone involved a gift. Remember I received $50 in what I consider free money from a virtual box. If you would like to join Influenster click on the link right here and sign up and start reviewing and getting active.

Until next time...
